Calling all foster families with kids who like cooking – get involved with Cooks & Kids
Following the growing success of the first two Cooks & Kids recipe books for children; we are currently calling all 5-18 year old children to enter this years’ National Fostering Agency Group (NFAG) Cooks & Kids recipe competition. For the third year, Chris Lee (The Bildeston Crown) is lending his support to the Cooks & Kids Cookbook initiative. The inspiration of the National Fostering Association, Cooks & Kids is a book of recipes from Cooks that have been tried and tested by kids.
If you have a birthchild or young person you are caring for that is interested in cooking, why not share this competition with them to give them the opportunity to have their recipe published in the new third edition of Cooks & Kids recipe book. For this new book we are pleased to announce that Gregg Wallace, presenter of Masterchef and many other well know chefs, are lending their support.
If you are a foster family, to produce this book, the organisers need recipes of your favourite dish from both your birth children and the children and young people you foster. The recipe form attached provides full details about this exciting project together with information on how to submit a recipe.
Closing date for this opportunity is 22 April.
