Tessa Allingham’s Feast Publishing has just published its second edition of Suffolk Feast – One County, Twenty Chefs, a cookbook and food lovers’ guide RRP £24.50. This book tells Suffolk’s food story through the eyes of twenty Suffolk-based chefs , each of whom champions a local ingredient they particularly like using.

The Bildeston Crown’s Chris Lee heads up the story as the first chef featured and he takes us game shooting to nearby Box Tree Farm with Mallard Barn’s Elaine Rushbrook to source some partridge. Although this book will be widely available later in the year, over the summer it can be purchased exclusively from the featured chefs’ themselves.  Buy a copy from The Bildeston Crown and ask for Chris to sign!
