Welcome Back

Chris, Hayley and The Crown team have missed serving & seeing you all.

We hope you have all stayed safe & healthy during these uncertain times.

We have been working hard behind the scenes to make sure our re-opening is as safe as possible, whilst also following the latest government guidelines to keep all our customers & staff safe.

The main changes you will notice are:

  • A short form to be filled out upon entry, this is to comply with the governments track and trace procedure – all details provided will be erased after 21 days.
  • All staff will be wearing gloves when serving you – we can ensure you staff will still be washing hands as often as possible.
  • Our bare appearance – unfortunately to stick to guidelines we have had to remove all soft furnishings and items from the tables. Your table will be laid accordingly shortly after you have placed your order.
  • We will be running a table service only – we have divided the restaurant, bar & courtyards into sections in which will be managed by a member of staff – this same staff member will be in charge of taking all food & drinks orders from your table and again delivering your orders to you. Unfortunately, we are unable to pour any wine or water at your table, we will present the bottle of wine and leave this for yourselves to pour.
  • Disposable menus – This menu will be disposed of after each use per table. This will remain on your table for duration of your visit.

We have conducted a thorough risk assessment and trained all staff members in our new measures to keep all safe. Please do not hesitate to view this or ask a member of staff any questions or queries you may have.

Whilst you are with us, we ask that you recognise the social distancing rules that are still in place of one metre plus; keeping and giving as much space around you as you can. Please be patient with us whilst we work with a reduced team and adapt to our new working environment.

Lastly, we would like to say a massive thank you for your support and understanding.
