The Crown, our country pub, sits proudly on the high street in Bildeston; set in the glorious Suffolk countryside
Owned and managed by Nedging Hall Estate, The Crown crafts menus using much of our own produce; the ultimate estate-to-plate dining experience.
An intriguing Suffolk pub and restaurant with rooms, it has oodles of charm. Inside you’ll find characterful and cosy dog-friendly bars, light-filled spaces to dine and indulgent bedrooms.

Estate to Plate
Our dedicated team of gardeners ensure we have the best homegrown produce across the whole year at Nedging Hall. The venison you’ll find on the menu is supplied by the estate. This and the fruit and vegetables grown in the kitchen garden saw the birth of our ‘estate to plate’ ethos. What we don’t grow ourselves, we source ultra-locally.

The Crown is in the heart of the Suffolk countryside and the perfect spot to explore local market towns, Lavenham, Long Melford, Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds, as well as Constable Country. Each of our en-suite rooms have been classically designed with unique features, and beds so comfy you won’t want to leave…
A Drink or Two...
The Crown has an extensive drinks menu, cosy armchairs and a roaring fire. You’ll find spots in the pub that are just perfect for morning coffees or late-night cocktails. An array of gins, a perfect pint of Mauldons Pale Ale or a glass of bubbly; whatever you fancy, we've got it behind the bar. There's a warm and wonderful atmosphere, you'll want to to sit and stay a while.
A warm welcome is guaranteed at our traditional village pub in the heart of the Suffolk countryside.
We’re family friendly, and dog friendly. They're welcome to join you in our bar.

The Crown has 13 beautiful and stylish rooms, all with en-suites and each with a unique and effortless style.
